Bookworm. Competitive hip hop dancer. Golfer. Crafter. Fashionista. Aspiring chef. Or criminologist. I had so many questions I would have liked to ask her, but there were so many intriguing elements to her, it was hard to fix on one and really get started on it.
It had rained recently, so the sky was already dim enough by late afternoon to splash a little color from my flash if I was clever about positioning. Priya loves purple, and I had been waiting for just the opportunity. She was patient while I tinkered with the flashes to get some funky colored effects in the background and bore up under the test flashes until I got everything balanced to my liking.
She wanted a mysterious, spooky vibe, so the Dexter Mausoleum was a natural choice to end the session. We were fortunate in that no one else was actively photographing there at sunset, so we had full reign to go full-guns violaceous without affecting anyone else.
I can’t wait to see what is store for this creative, free-spirited soul!
