I’ve posted the pictures of Megan at the piano before, but I didn’t include the images from the entrance area of Chesterwood Village before. I loved their nostalgic Main Street replica and thought it would be an amazing alternative to outdoor pictures for those students who weren’t able to fit it in their busy schedules before the cold season (band kids, I’m looking at you). These were just quick snaps, no flash, that I took while waiting for Megan to change, so they show the combination of natural light (morning) and artificial light that is present in the building.

The community relations director, Jane, was really welcoming and accompanied us during the session. She even gave the piano a quick polish it didn’t really need to make sure it was mirror-shiny in the photos. She just asked that we didn’t include any of the other guests at the Village in the photos, which was certainly understandable.

My son already picked out my husband and my retirement lodgings when he was four years old, but maybe he would reconsider.
