Gianni is an athlete, going straight from football into basketball season. He’s also fond of hiking and the outdoors. Despite his handsome face and superior motor coordination skills, posing for the camera was not something that came naturally to him. However, he was extremely tolerant of all my picky instructions, and followed them with good grace. He also put up with being recognized by practically everyone he knew in his hometown, which led to many calls of encouragement and possibly a little ribbing. There was some sort of harvest festival going on downtown, so some of his admirers were costumed. I missed an opportunity to allow Batman to photo-bomb his picture, a decision I now regret.

About the Author: Nancy Riley
I love to create images that are beautiful, unusual, or make you look at things in a different way. I am primarily a people photographer, but also love the process of discovery in nature and fine art photography. I have taught photography online, mainly because I would talk anyone's ear off about f-stops, and now shoot portraits, sports, and events in the Cincinnati area.
