Julia plays many instruments well, including the clarinet and English horn, but her main love is the oboe. She actually crafts her own reeds to her own specifications. Given her dedication to music, it was natural that she would choose Cincinnati’s Music Hall as the setting for her senior photos.

Julia has performed in many impressive music halls, including this one, but she is also accustomed to rigorous training outdoors in extreme weather conditions with a top level marching band. Therefore, she was unfazed by the prospect of a two-hour photo session in humid, 90 plus degree weather, and sudden heavy showers scattered throughout the day and evening.

I knew Julia was tough and would come through under pressure, and I was right. Her face didn’t even look shiny after she did the last part of the session in long pants, and she remained cheerful and engaging until the sun went down. Well done, Julia!
