What kid wouldn’t want to get up at the crack of dawn on the first day of spring break to go take the senior pictures that weren’t his idea in the first place? And to top it off, the breakfast place that was dangled in front of him like a carrot turned out to be closed on Mondays. But James was willing to be a good sport despite these hardships, and was pleasant and cooperative throughout the session. His mom was also a resilient assistant, holding the light in a softbox high overhead, since James has a significant height advantage over her.
James is currently planning to major in chemical engineering. He is taking a number of advanced level science and math courses in his senior year, but also very little filler, so he is able to concentrate on his serious classes and not be too stressed about it.
Just a note: we did check with the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad ahead of time to make sure the trains weren’t going to move for any reason. They are in their off-season, but still sometimes move the trains for maintenance, so it’s always important to check. Also, the railroad tracks and the station area are all private property, so always ask permission before entering the space.
