One of the most fun things about senior portraits is that we can get several different looks in one session.
Allie started off the session looking preppy, smart, and confident. She was also sweltering, as it was very warm and humid, but she gave no sign of her discomfort in the photos. She was pretty relieved, though, to go change into her shorts.
Then we started exploring her more relaxed, natural side. She looked quite at home among the daylilies.
The approaching sunset was doing amazing things with her hair. These might be my favorites of the session. It’s hard to decide, though.
I didn’t realize it was getting so late because we were having so much fun. Luckily, her mom was watching the clock and reminded me it would take Allie some time to change into her sari. It was just past sunset when she was ready. I had loved the black and gold sari when we picked it out at her consultation, but when she was wearing it, it looked even more stunning.
I had my lights set up when she came back, but the light was falling fast, so we had to work quickly to keep the background from going completely dark. Allie was a champ, though, and was only a little bit distracted when a four-inch toad photo-bombed her senior session. It was around 9:30 p.m. when we quit because it was too dark to focus anymore.
Thanks, Allie, for being such an enthusiastic and tireless model! I had a great time at our senior portrait session, and hope you did, too!
Wow, simply lovely! Beautiful model, beautiful photographs!
