Nicholas is a cross country runner and a soccer player. He opted for a sunrise session, rather than sunset, which sets him apart from most of my seniors. It shows the discipline that goes with his athleticism.

He’s in the process of applying at universities, looking particularly at business programs. I know the dress code of business has changed markedly in the last decade, but he does look very dapper in a suit. The teal blue color paired with white sneakers kept his look very contemporary.

We had a beautiful, crisp fall morning with plenty of sunshine, which was very different from the morning two weeks ago when we originally scheduled his session during Hurricane Helene. It is not every high school senior who can be cooperative and polite for a two-hour sunrise session which wasn’t his idea in the first place, but Nicholas performed admirably. I imagine his self-discipline and his diplomacy will serve him well in the future, whether he is in business or any other path he chooses to pursue!
