Lauren loves nature, but not everything in nature. For instance, bugs and reptiles are evaluated on a case-by-case basis in terms of appeal.
She is gentle and unassuming, but she is no wimp. She knows when to put her responsible pants on and corral a group of rowdy saxophone players. But mostly, she is easy-going and manages to lead without having to put on her stern face. In fact, we found that it was a huge challenge for her to keep from smiling whenever anyone looked at her. She managed it, but only after practice and great effort.
For someone who doesn’t particularly seek out the camera, she rose to the occasion beautifully. She also is the rare blue-eyed person who doesn’t squint when I turn her around to the sun. She and her twin both excelled at that skill.
The two sisters were both as personable as they were photogenic. It was a lovely way to spend a holiday evening celebrating their senior year with their joint portrait session!
