Malcolm is graduating this year from high school, but he is also graduating from Wright State University with a Bachelors of Mathematics. He’s been doing the College Credit Plus program since he was eleven and living on the Wright State campus for the last year. Despite not having much time for extracurricular activities, he has interests in music (French horn, guitar, and others) and fishing. We specifically waited to do his session when the cherry blossoms were predicted to be at their peak, but a cold snap and rain threw an unexpected element to the plan. Luckily, Malcolm is adaptable and doesn’t mind a little rain. Actually he likes a lot of rain, but my cameras don’t like a lot of rain.

Just a note: Malcolm was not actually fishing in the fountain at Ault Park. The only thing he “caught” was one of his fish-shaped shoes that he apparently wore to a relative’s wedding. As you can tell, Malcolm is not a slave to convention. We look forward to seeing him with his PhD in a few short years!
