Alex is a talented musician who plays viola for the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra as well as the Mason High School orchestra. She wanted to have her senior pictures taken at the iconic Cincinnati Music Hall on a warm, sunny, spring day. She got two out of the three. It wasn’t actually frigid, with the temperature hovering around 50, but we were in the shade ninety percent of the time. When you are wearing a strapless dress or an eyelet top, you really feel every chilly breeze, and there were plenty of those.

As if that didn’t pull her far enough out of her comfort zone, a street drummer challenged her to join him in an impromptu duet in front of Memorial Hall. Despite her talent and beauty, she is actually quite shy of people looking at her, so it was quite an accomplishment that she took him up on it and played with him for a bit. In addition, one passerby asked her if she was part of the Riverdance troupe that was performing at the Music Hall that evening.

Between attracting all kinds of attention, the wind chill, and the five-inch heels, it was remarkable that she steeled her self to last through her two-hour session. The street drummer did try to make her mother promise to bring her back, but we will have to see.
