Olivia would have preferred a lot less attention from passerby when I was photographing her in Sharon Woods, but it was a beautiful day on the trails, and many people were out to enjoy the scenery. Perhaps it was good for her to hear all the well-wishers commenting on how lovely she looked and congratulating her on her senior year. And she did indeed look lovely, but I think Olivia is more comfortable focusing on her pursuits of art and music than cultivating her image in front of a camera. Right now she is in the thick of a busy marching band season, which is a full-time endeavor in itself, and trying to keep up with two AP art classes. She enjoys it all, but it is hard to find the time to give everything the attention it demands.

She is looking at a number of art and design schools both across the country and in our area, all excellent programs that have been on the short list of others I know with similar career goals. I wish her the best luck in her decision making, and hope she finds a little time to enjoy her senior year!
