If the clothes make the man, this young man has it made. I was impressed with his elegant ensemble, complete with well-ironed shirt and polished shoes. He looked like he would be right at home on the pages of GQ.
But this young man is actually a lover of the outdoors and a seasoned 4-H clubber for over a decade. Can you picture this fashionable young man raising goats?
How about now?
We stopped by the Warren County Fairgrounds to take a few nostalgic pictures of a place where he had exhibited farm animals over the last twelve years. I had never been there, but I might have to come back when the fair is open in July.
We also got a few more casual pictures in downtown Lebanon.

He only wanted a few urban locations, but how could you stop when he looked good against so many different settings? And even though they don’t show in these photos, I want to mention that when the soles of his shoes were visible in the seated poses, they looked spotless.
I finally relented and took him and his mom out to the park. Okay, so I forgot to warn them how far we would be walking. And that we might go off trail just a little. Let’s just say that those pristine shoe soles aren’t so pristine anymore. Sorry about that.
At least I didn’t mess up his hat. I did love the hat.
I feel I should emphasize that this young man is not just a dapper dresser and knowledgeable about livestock, but also ambitious in his educational goals. Currently, he is considering a career in medicine, although he is open to seeing what appeals to him along the way.
I wish him well and am confident that he will continue to impress all those he meets in his life journey!
