I’m not knocking boy babies. Really. But when Grandma has been hanging on to the lavender tutu she made for five years, give or take, waiting for a baby granddaughter, then it’s a relief when a mobile X chromosome finally wins the derby.
And I know that some will be all about gender-neutrality and such, but I don’t want to get into any debates about stereotyping. I just want you to enjoy pictures of an exceptionally pretty baby girl dressed with love by a family who is excited to welcome her.
These are her big brothers, of course. I will say that the older brother was far more cooperative with pictures this time than when his little brother made his entrance a few years ago. This time, both boys took turns holding the baby and did really well. But we kept her on the ground for most of the time, because, well, just because.
Then it was time for their little sister to have some solo pictures. Isn’t she pretty?
I think the onesie says it all.
Not that they’re going to spoil her, of course. Of course not.
What do YOU think?
Such a beautiful picture.
Thank you! She is gorgeous, isn’t she?
So beautiful and precious!
Yes, she is!
She is absolutely gorgeous and her two big brothers are very handsome. Beautiful photos, Nancy.
Thank you! They are an adorable family.
