Bella and Eli share a birthday and the same melt-your-heart smile. But they each have their own interests and personalities. Bella was happy to have her picture taken, although the session was not “look at me,” but rather, “look at all these special nooks I love to hang out in!”
Eli was less excited about having his picture taken, but he was kind enough to play along, even though he just had an emergency appendectomy two weeks ago and wasn’t back to 100%.
The family property is straight out of a pastoral living magazine. Occasionally, you peek through the trees and see someone’s suburban back yard, but it would be easy to believe yourself isolated in the country. All the flowers in Bella’s beautiful bouquet were grown, cut, and arranged by her very capable mother.
Bella was 50% tour guide, 50% model. Eli was 75% hold the lighting equipment, 20% observation and helpful commentary, and 5% get picture taken alone, with Bella, or with Roxy, their dog. It was clear that Eli preferred the last option, and only tolerated the first two out of good-natured politeness.
Bella, on the other hand, was equally happy taking pictures with her brothers, Roxy, or alone. Despite her obvious personal beauty, she was much more focused on showing off all the pretty spots that made her home special to her.
Both siblings were intelligent, thoughtful, and a delight to work with. I’m excited to see what the rest of the year has in store for them!
