I love this family for so many reasons, but one of them is that they always come up with something new to make their annual family portraits special. We’ve featured them doing karate, baseball, gymnastics, scouting, and basketball, and the ideas keep coming.
This year, the second oldest boy wanted to do a Clark Kent/Superman thing. Mom carried the theme a bit further by buying superhero shirts for the other boys, and naturally, I got carried away.
I didn’t use any one filter in Photoshop to create the comic book versions, but combined a lot of different steps from different tutorials I found on the web, and made my own additions.
Here is the result.
As you can probably tell, I had a lot of fun with this project, and even my nine-year-old thought the comic book portraits were pretty cool.
I can’t wait to see what my imaginative family will do next year!
