Hari is a talented trumpet player and headed for a career in computer science. He was poised and sociable. From his appearance and demeanor, one wouldn’t have guessed that he was up until 3:30 the night before for prom and related festivities.

We did a quick session in Covington, around George Rogers Clark Park. Because the sun was in full-force, I had to use my flash at full power in a softbox around a yard from him to get a good exposure on him in the shade with the skyline in the background. Hari was a great sport, and braved the nuclear blasts of light, although he couldn’t help blinking often, knowing the next flash was coming. We ended the session in the shade, to give his retinas a chance to recover.

Hopefully he had a chance to sleep after his session and enjoys the rest of his senior year!
