Kari is a creative soul. She is exploring a career in the visual arts, with her current focus being animation. She would much rather be the one creating the picture than being the subject of the picture. So would I. And since I’m theoretically the grown-up, I got to have my way.
Kari’s smile would be the perfect advertisement for her mom’s pediatric dentistry practice. Kari’s personality in front of the camera is typically more low-key, but when she does unleash the full brilliance of her smile, it’s a stunner.
We took some natural light photos with the beautiful trees and monuments, then set up lights for maximum drama as the sun set. Kari found that even as a subject, she could be an active participant in creating the image as the model. It is a pity that we ran out of time, but hopefully, she had fun trying out a new role!
