Paige just finished her role as Silena Beauregard in a theater production of The Lightning Thief. I haven’t seen the show, and not to disparage her acting chops, but it seems to me that representing a demigod of love and beauty was not a huge stretch for her. Paige is not only gorgeous, but very aware of what will look good in front of the camera, both in posing and in expression. She is very creative and finds ways to bring her fantasies to life, both by creating her own costumes and being a princess for children’s parties.
Despite her fairytale dabblings, she well-grounded in her aspirations to become a teacher, ideally at the school she attends now. I think this is a huge compliment to the teachers in her school. They have encouraged her to think independently and to develop her many talents. We could all use more teachers like that!
