Congratulations to my young friend, Rebecca, who had her First Communion today.

Because I wasn’t able to come to the service, we scheduled her portrait session a week in advance. It worked out well, also, because it was beautiful and sunny that day. Today it was rainy, and we wouldn’t have been able to get pictures of her sitting and kneeling in the grass.

There was a christening service occurring while we were at the church, so we only had very limited access to the inside, but the lawn was lovely, with the trees in full bloom.

And we were allowed to take just a few photos in the nave before they locked up for the evening.
